Inter Agency Steering Committee

The Inter Agency Steering Committee (IASC) comprises of a Deputy Secretary from each Tasmanian Government agency.

The IASC provides corporate leadership on whole-of-government policies and strategies for:

  • Information management;
  • Information systems; and
  • Project management.

The IASC also provides high-level governance for relevant major projects within the Tasmanian Government, with an emphasis on those that involve two or more agencies.

The IASC is supported by the Inter Agency Policy and Projects Unit (IAPPU) within the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
