Quick guide

The Project Management Quick Guide has been produced to provide a basic introduction to the Tasmanian Government Project Management Guidelines in plain English.

The quick guide provides an introduction to:

  • project management terminology,
  • phases in the life of a project,
  • major project management documents, and 
  • key considerations for project managers regardless of the size and complexity of the project.

Information and advice on project management is available to all agencies by emailing project.management@dpac.tas.gov.au.
