The Service Tasmania Project was established by the Tasmanian Government in July 1997 as a three year initiative to conclude in June 2000.
The aim of the whole-of-government project was to make it easier for all Tasmanians to do their everyday business with Government over the counter, over the phone and over the Internet on a one stop basis.
Project outputs were managed on an ongoing basis by the Service Tasmania Board with executive support from the Service Tasmania Business Unit.
