About us

The Inter Agency Policy and Projects Unit (IAPPU) is part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet's Government Information and Services Division.

IAPPU operates under the direction of the Inter Agency Steering Committee (IASC) and is responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of whole-of-government information management and information systems policies, and project management, aimed at improving and modernising the operations of Government in Tasmania.

IAPPU programs

The Inter Agency Policy and Projects Unit works on three distinct programs covering eGovernment, Interoperability and Better practice.

Inter Agency Steering Committee

Provides corporate leadership on whole-of-government policies and strategies for information management; information systems and project management.
