The Office of eGovernment is taking a new direction in progressing strategic issues in the use of information and communication technology (ICT) across the Tasmanian Government. The Office is responsible for leading the development of an ICT Strategy for the Tasmanian Government, developing policies, standards and guidelines to support ICT activities, and supporting key ICT projects and major ICT service provision activities across the Tasmanian Government, including the IT Transformation Program.

The Office is part of the Department of Premier and Cabinet's Government Information and Services Division and was previously known as the Inter Agency Policy and Projects Unit (IAPPU). Find out more about the Office of eGovernment.
